Black Tie Burger & Beer Night 2020

$5640!

Yes, that’s right……$5,640 raised at last night’s Black Tie Burger & Beer Night!

Despite reduced capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions, we still managed to smash last year’s total by $2000.

Everyone who was involved - hosting, attending, donating - all contributed to making the evening such a HUGE success and each one of you will be directly responsible for creating memories & putting smiles on the faces of so many kids and their mums.

So many important people to thank – please read through them all and please support the businesses who supported us .

Elyse, Vee & Fadzai – this wouldn’t have been possible without you. A truly remarkable team that I’m proud to be a part of. Vee & Fadzai were the geniuses behind all those awesome auction items.

Cate & Kevin – yet again, you were amazing! From Cate running the evening so well to Kev’s auctioneer style that got the bucks rolling in.

Laneway Seven – Mel & Justin, you guys are the best! Nothing is ever too much trouble! Your staff – Emily, Kate, Deekyn and Chef Will - were awesome and did a brilliant job. Great service….great food…not surprisingly, everyone loved the amazing burgers. I hope Laneway and Black Tie night can always be a thing .

My brother Greg & Ellenbrook Branch of Bendigo Bank manager extraordinaire Dave – we couldn’t have two better guys running the bar. Quick service with quick wit .

Torrent Wines – kind sponsors of wines and sparkling wine for the evening. http://www.torrentwines.com.au/. Thank you for making sure our guests were looked after.

Switch Acoustic – their incredible live music added THE perfect touch to the evening, Thanks Brendan and Declan.

To the supremely talented bakers who donated all the special desserts – Tumatreats, Shugahills, Cjays Sweet Treats, Happy Ever Laugher Party, Bakeorium. They looked amazing, they tasted amazing! I had many guests asking who made it all. I have to say….to see our logo and colours on cookies & cupcakes was wonderful

And to all the business who donated items for the auction – New West Foods (WA) Pty Ltd, Natalie Gibbons (Arbonne), Whipper Snapper Distillery, Lumber Punks Perth, Two Blind Cows Glamping, Old Young's, Styled by Bvek (luxury pallet picnic & styling), Coaching Zone Leederville, Cinderella Hub Dress Hire Perth, Mel & Justin, Chatsworth Flowers, photosbyclaireperth, Chantel Engelbrecht (handmade unique handbags), Jackson Truong (JB Hifi, EB Games, Dymocks & Event Cinemas gift cards), Woolworths Aveley.

And last but definitely not least - to everyone who attended - the evening would not have been a success without you . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support of time and money.
